Security

Rungwell’s information security management system has been certified to ISO/IEC 27001 since 2023, covering the Toronto head office, both delivery centres, Rungwell at Home and the Rungwell Tasks platform. The certificate and statement of applicability are available to clients under a non-disclosure agreement.

• Access by personal card, logged, to each floor and each restricted room.
• Workstations with no removable storage, no personal email and no browsing outside approved services.
• Restricted rooms for confidential work: phones in lockers at the door, no windows onto the open floor, supervised entry.
• Clean-desk rules on every floor. Paper notes are shredded at the end of each shift.

Remote labellers work only on Rungwell-managed laptops with encrypted disks, an authenticator code at sign-in and no other software. Projects whose data may not leave a centre are marked on-site only and never reach a Rungwell at Home queue. Focus Assurance provides clients with evidence that remote work is done by the labeller assigned to it.

Client data stays in storage the client approves, in the regions the client chooses, and is deleted or returned at the end of a project with a certificate of deletion. Every access is logged. We have had no reportable security incident since certification.
