Definitions

Labeller
Anyone employed in a delivery role (labeller, senior labeller, quality reviewer, trainer, team lead or centre manager) at either centre or through Rungwell at Home.
People since 2016
Everyone employed by Rungwell Kenya Limited or Rungwell Philippines, Inc. in a delivery role between 14 March 2016 and 31 December 2025, counted once however many contracts they held.
Full month
Twenty or more scheduled shifts in a calendar month, with an average quality score of 95% or more on site, or an average Focus Assurance score of 80 or more through Rungwell at Home. Months that do not meet this definition are excluded from the earnings median.
Earnings multiple
Median gross monthly earnings of labellers who worked a full month, divided by the statutory minimum wage that applies to the work (Nairobi) or that wage for a 26-day month (Metro Manila). Gross earnings include base pay for scheduled shifts, task earnings and wellbeing time credited. Task rates vary by task.
Promotion
Promotions to senior labeller, quality reviewer, trainer, team lead or centre management since 2016. A person promoted twice is counted twice.
First-pass acceptance
Items accepted by the client at first delivery, as a share of items delivered, across all projects in 2025. Items returned by a client and corrected are counted as not accepted.
Retention
The share of people who joined in a year who were still employed twelve months after their start date.

Limits

Our leavers’ survey reaches fewer than four in ten people who leave, and people who are working may be more likely to answer. We do not weight the results. Earnings multiples describe labellers who worked a full month; in a typical month in 2025, 58% did. We report earnings as multiples of the minimum wage rather than in a single currency because costs of living differ too much between our centres for one figure to mean anything.

We do not commission an external audit of our impact figures. Our financial statements are audited.
