Supply chain report 2025
This report covers the financial year ended 31 December 2025, for Rungwell Inc. and its subsidiaries, and is made under Canada’s Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act. It was approved by the board on 21 May 2026.
1. Our structure and activities
Rungwell Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation headquartered in Toronto. Its subsidiaries Rungwell Kenya Limited and Rungwell Philippines, Inc. employ the labellers who deliver our services. We sell data annotation, sensitive-content review and model evaluation to clients in North America, Europe and Asia.
2. Our supply chains
Our main purchases are office space, computers and peripherals, mobile data, counselling services, payroll and benefits administration, transport and catering. The highest-risk categories for forced or child labour are electronics (in their manufacture) and catering and cleaning services (in their staffing).
3. Our own operations
Every person who delivers our services is our direct employee, aged 18 or over, with a written contract and paid at least the applicable minimum wage. We do not use recruitment agencies that charge workers fees, and we never charge fees ourselves. We check age and identity at hiring.
4. Steps taken in 2025
| Step | Status |
|---|---|
| Supplier code of conduct sent to all suppliers over CA$25,000 a year | 31 of 31 acknowledged |
| Labour practice questionnaire for catering and cleaning contractors | Completed at both centres |
| Computers bought only from manufacturers that publish supply chain audits | In place since 2023 |
| Training for People and procurement staff | 14 staff trained |
| Grievance route for contractors’ staff working in our centres | Introduced in Manila; Nairobi in 2026 |
5. Remediation
We found no cases of forced or child labour in our operations or supply chains in 2025, and so made no remediation payments.
6. Assessing effectiveness
The Audit and Finance Committee reviews this work annually. In 2026 we will extend the contractor grievance route to Nairobi and ask our two largest electronics suppliers for their most recent audit results.
