Every task in your Queue arrives as a card. Before you accept a task, the card tells you:
- the project code (a bird’s name, such as KESTREL or PLOVER) and the task type;
- a short description and a link to the current guidelines;
- how long the task usually takes, from the last 500 completed tasks;
- a content warning and tier (S1, S2 or S3) if the task may contain distressing material;
- whether the task needs a restricted room;
- the task rate.
Declining a task
You may decline any task with a content warning, for any reason, without losing pay for the shift. Tap Not for me; you do not have to say why. Your team lead sees that a task was declined but not by whom.
Tasks without a content warning can be skipped with Skip if something about the item is wrong, such as a corrupt image or an item in a language you were not trained for. Choose the reason from the list so that the item can be fixed.
Rates vary by task and are set per project. The rate shown on the card is the rate for an accepted item.
